Agir Award

The AGIR Prize reflects the commitment of the REN-Redes Energéticas Nacionais - within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility. The aim of the prize is to encourage and support initiatives which respond to social problems.

In 2014, the first edition of this event had as its theme the creation of jobs. In the two editions following the AGIR Prize was devoted, respectively, to the active ageing and combating poverty and social exclusion. On your fourth edition, the prize ACT will support three projects which have effective answers to the labour insertion of people with disabilities, in a manner not paternalistic, but to promote the autonomy and empowerment of its beneficiaries.

The Prize is aimed at associations, businesses and non-profit organizations. The first project is assigned a monetary value of 30000 euros, second 15000 euros and the third 5000 euros.

The selection is the responsibility of REN in partnership with Stone Soup Consulting, which will track and monitor the use of funds donated to each project supported, so as to make the actual social impact assessment support of REN to every project.

The nominations of projects should be submitted from 1 March to 30 April 2017.
