Graduation in Business Management from the Portuguese Catholic University. He is the Director of Logoenergia SGPS, SA, and founder partner of LOGOPLASTE, with position of CEO, and of NORFIN and INVESFIN, of which he is a manager, and of LOGOVINHA and LOGOHOTÉIS. He was also a founder partner and Director of INTERFINANÇA and FONSECAS & BURNAY - Sociedade Gestora de Património, and he was a Director of Hotel da Lapa between 1990 and 1994. He is currently the Chairman of ELO – Portuguese Association for Economic Development and Cooperation as well as the CPLP Business Council. He is also Foreign Trade Adviser to France, a member of the University of Minho Strategic Council and a director of Sporting Clube de Portugal.
