Mr. José Frederico Jordão holds a degree in Finance from Instituto Superior de Ciências Económicas e Financeiras. 
He has held several positions, namely member of the Board of Directors of RAR (Holding) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Iberholding, RAR Imobiliária, RAR (Geneva) and RAR (London). He also was member of the Board of Directors of Finantipar (the holding company that controls Grupo Finantia) and a member of the General Board and Chairman of the General Meeting of Shareholders of Global and Global Vida insurance companies.
Mr. José Frederico Jordão has also worked at Shell Portuguesa, Grupo Cuf, Mobil Oil Portuguesa and Dow Chemical, among other companies.
