REN Data Hub and REN Investors App honoured in international competitions

REN Data Hub won the Gold Stevie in the 19th edition of the International Business Awards, in the Website category, in the Energy area. REN Data Hub was also honoured at the Vega Digital Awards 2022, in the Website & Sites Mobile category for Best Data Visualisation, with the Centauri level. REN's Investors App was also recognised in these awards in the Apps & Software category with the Arcturus level.

Launched in June 2021, REN Data Hub is a platform that, in updated form, collects and makes available the quantitative data on the Portuguese energy sector, by documenting the energy sector's transformation in the path to decarbonising the economy. REN chose to provide all the information in open data, by making access easier for all, namely for academia, researchers, and professionals in the sector. In this way, it will contribute to sharing relevant information about the Portuguese energy sector and to foster the development of research and innovation in the field of energy, simultaneously documenting the energy sector's transformation in the path to decarbonising the economy.

The renovated REN Investors App, available in iOS and Android since May 2021, seeks to provide financial information updated in real time, thus enabling users to easily access the company's key data, such as the financial performance indicators, the stock price performance, and the market's trends. The App also makes it possible to check the most relevant data about the company's actions as regards environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, by showing that they are part of the company's sustainability strategy, based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) created in 2015 by the United Nations.

The Stevie Awards are presented since 2002, and are one of the world's most important awards for the corporate sector, with eight different categories. In this year's edition, over 3,700 companies from 65 countries competed. The companies are graded from 0 to 10, with the one receiving the panel's highest grade being awarded the Gold Stevie.

The Vega Digital Awards honour projects in the digital area from around the world, with the winners being chosen by a selected panel. The projects that are submitted are reviewed and scored on a scale from 0 to 100, with three levels of recognition: Canopus (100-85 points), Centauri (70-84 points), and Arcturus (50-69).
