MSCI, one of the most important research firms for institutional investors worldwide, classified REN with an A in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating.
Every year analysts from MSCI ESG Research study the practices, in environmental, social and governance terms, of over 6,000 companies around the world, in order to analyse their performance.
ESG measures the performance and investment of each company in the three indicators mentioned, which is later used by institutional investors and asset managers, to gauge the sustainability of a particular company or business, as well as the risks and opportunities inherent in these three analysed areas.
MSCI, founded in 1969, pioneered the development of equity market indexes, with its first index sold in 1969. It later entered the research market, a market in which it holds a position of prominence.
