REN won an award for best Intranet and best Annual Report at the Grande Prémio APCE 2016. The FEIEA (European Association for Internal Communication) Grand Prix was also held during this ceremony, with REN winning second place for Intranet in the category of Best Internal Communication Strategy.
REN's Intranet was developed with the aim of providing a collaborative working environment and making users' lives easier by allowing better access to working tools and encouraging employees to take part in company affairs. The graphic concept and web design were developed by By Agency and implemented by Viatecla. WHITE and By agencies were respectively in charge of developing the communication concept and the graphic and web designs of the Annual Report.
Established in 1995, the Grande Prémio APCE is organised by the Portuguese Association for Corporate Communication (APCE) and offers prizes for excellency in communication strategies for organisations.
FEIEA, created 61 years ago, aims to bring together internal communication managers, acting as a common forum for them to connect with business, academic and social organisations. Founded in 1991, the FEIEA Grand Prix honours the best European internal communication solutions.
Over the course of this year, REN has received a number of prizes and accolades in the field of communication, in particular at the iNOVA Awards where it won Gold, Silver and Bronze for its Annual Report, Sustainability Report and Investors & Media App.
Also this year, the Annual Report also won Silver at the 2016 Portuguese Creative Club Festival. The REN App had already been named 'Best in Class' in the Investor Relations category at the Interactive Media Awards, having also landed first place in the 'Mobile Media/app' category at the 2016 Questar Awards.
