Pilot project for internal training at REN for the use of fixed-wing drones 

Assessing the use of fixed-wing drones to monitor the infrastructures and easements of the Portuguese National Electricity and Gas Transmission Grid autonomously and their impact on the activities considered critical for REN. 

Developing a pilot project with drones to test their application and assess their impact on REN’s activities.

Fostering the capacity of a team to handle them, process the images, and acquire awareness of issues related to flight and image capturing authorisations.
