On March 31, 2026, the power transformer for the Buli Electrical Substation arrived on site, marking a significant milestone in the development of this transmission project that Transemel is executing in the Province of Punilla, Ñuble Region, and which is nearing its entry into operation.

In this context, on April 1, 2026, regional and sectoral authorities visited the construction site, an opportunity that allowed them to observe the project’s progress firsthand and highlight its strategic importance for the region.

The visit was attended by the Provincial Presidential Delegate of Punilla, Cristóbal Jardua; the Ñuble Regional Ministerial Secretary for Energy, Cristian Jaque; the Regional Ministerial Secretary for Economy, Manuel Cofré; and the Regional Director of the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC), Víctor Pérez.

The Buli Substation is a key project for strengthening the province’s electrical infrastructure, helping to improve the capacity and robustness of the regional electrical system and enabling local economic development.

For Transemel, this milestone represents an opportunity to raise awareness of the project among authorities and the community, as well as to position the company as a key player in electricity transmission in the Ñuble Region, in line with its commitment to the development of the national electricity system.
