Photovoltaic energy beats historic production record in July

Photovoltaic energy production in Portugal hit a new historical record on July 29 at 13:45, with 437 MW, surpassing the previous maximum of 409 MW verified on May 18, 2017.

Monthly production also reached a new high, with 99 GWh, exceeding the previous record of 95 GWh, verified in July 2017.

The installed Photovoltaic capacity in Portugal is currently 548 MW, supplying 1.5% of the national consumption.
