REN honoured in S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2026

REN – Redes Energéticas Nacionais is included in S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2026, one of the leading international references in the assessment of corporate sustainability practices, ranking as one of the best performing companies in its sector.

Included in the Multi and Water Utilities category, REN scored 78 points on the S&P Global CSA Score, ranking among the Top 10 global companies with excellent performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) parameters. REN was also recognised as an Industry Mover, a distinction that highlights organisations with the greatest improvement in performance compared to the previous year.

S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2026 assessed more than 9,200 companies from 59 sectors based on the results of the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2025. Of these, only 848 companies were selected as Yearbook Members, a distinction reserved for organisations that rank in the top 15% of their industry and whose CSA score is less than 30% of the leading company in their sector.

For REN, this distinction represents recognition of its ongoing work to integrate ESG criteria into its strategy, reinforcing the company's contribution to the energy transition and the development of safe, efficient and sustainable infrastructure.

In 2025, REN achieved its best ever score in the S&P Global CSA index, reaching 78 points, more than double the 38 points recorded in 2016, the year in which it joined this ranking.
