REN publishes electricity and Natural Gas Technical Data for 2012

Data on consumption, generation, as well as regarding the development of the Grid and its performance in terms of quality of service are available in the 2012 edition of both Electricity and Natural Gas Technical Data.

The 'Technical Data' issue is a reference to the disclosure of the main statistical indicators regarding both activity sectors in which REN operates. In 2012, the level of natural gas demand in Portugal reached a total amount of 50.2 TWh and eelectricity consumption totaled 49.1 TWh, having generation from renewable sources supplied 37% of consumption, with wind power reaching its highest ever share, 20%.
