AGIR prize supports the labour market integration of people with disabilities

AGIR Prize opened applications for its fourth edition whose theme is the labour market integration of people with disabilities. AGIR Prize fits in the policy of engagement with the Community and Social Innovation of REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais, and seeks to support projects developed by companies and non-profit organizations.

After having dedicated, in its last edition, this initiative of REN to combating poverty and social exclusion, this year the goal is to reward innovative projects that demonstrate effective responses regarding the labour market integration of people with disabilities, in a manner that is not paternalistic but that promotes the autonomy and empowerment of its beneficiaries.

The selection of the three best projects is the responsibility of REN in partnership with STONE SOUP, which accompanies and monitors the use of the funds donated to each supported project, and also assesses the actual social impact of REN's assistance to each project. The winner of the first prize receives a monetary sum of thirty thousand euros, the second fifteen thousand euros, and the third five thousand euros.

Project applications shall be submitted from 1 March to 30 April 2017.
