REN, REE and ENAGÁS discuss energy markets in Brussels

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais and its Spanish counterpart, REE - Red Elétrica de España, and Enegas are sponsoring the conference, Energy Transmission Networks - An Investment for Consumers: The Way to Achieve Full Market Integration and Price Convergence, to be held on 8 October. This event, which will take place in Brussels, will be attended by Dominique Ristori, head of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy.

The conference will take place in the offices of the Portuguese Permanent Representation to the European Union as part of the 12th European Week of Regions and Cities, and will discuss the role of European energy interconnections, the diversification of energy sources, security of supply and the importance of creating an internal energy market.

Dominique Ristori will be the keynote speaker at the conference. He will speak on the subject of the internal energy market and the importance of developing energy interconnections.

The many bodies represented at this event will have a chance to share their strategies, practical guidance and experience in several areas within the energy market.
