Daily energy consumption hits historic high

After REN announced that on 6 January (Tuesday), a record daily electricity consumption of 186.2 GWh was recorded (the previous record was 185.1 GWh, on 13 January 2021), the National Electricity System continues to set daily consumption records.

On Wednesday, a figure of 188.1 GWh was recorded, and yesterday, Thursday (8 January), a new all-time high of 192.3 GWh was recorded.
