2016 Annual report and REN Energia App awarded gold and silver in international awards

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais won the gold prize, with its 2016 Annual Report, in the Energy Websites category, and silver, with the REN Energia APP, in the Business Mobile Apps/Sites category at the Davey Awards. REN's Annual Report was also awarded silver at the W3 Awards.

Created in 2014, the Davey Awards seek to honour creativity in communication. The Panel of the Davey Awards is composed of members of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an entity that operates solely by invitation, and which includes only professionals with renowned skill and working in the areas of media, advertising and marketing. The evaluation process consists of an assessment, ranging from zero to ten and carried out by the members of the academy, on the project's merit. Scores above than nine are awarded gold, those between eight and nine are awarded silver, and those between seven and eight are awarded bronze. If no application reaches seven points, no winners will be named.

In its 12th edition, the W3 Awards reward excellence on the Internet, acknowledging creative and marketing professionals. The applications are evaluated according to factors such as creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, design and ease of use.
