Annual Report: Award-Winning REN communication and design

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais won Gold in the Annual Reports - Overall Presentation - Energy category at the MERCURY Awards, an international competition that recognises the best work in the field of communications.

The Mercury Excellence Awards are distributed annually by a jury made up of representatives from the financial sector (Wachovia, PVF Investor Relations, Bank of China, among others), the media (RTL, Pratt Institute, Equity Financial Press, REF Financial Press, etc.), design agencies (e.g. Burgess Strategic Marketing, First Rabbit, Four Media Digital Media Innovations, The Design Associates) and communication agencies (Edico Financial Press Services, Weber Shandwick, Petranix Corporate and Financial Communications, among others).

Each application is evaluated three times, with the average of these three assessments determining whether the company has a high enough score to be placed in the top three or receive an honourable mention. A total of 680 companies from 18 countries took part in this year's awards.
