Public consultation – Procedures Manual of the Issuing Body for Guarantees of Origin (Entidade Emissora de Garantias de Origem – EEGO)

Law No. 71/2018 of 31 December, which approves the Portuguese State Budget for 2019, in its article 238, which amends Decree-Law No. 23/2010 of 25 March and Decree-Law No. 141/2010 of 31 December, establishes that REN, as the concessionaire of the National Transmission Network, is entrusted with the responsibilities pertaining to the Issuing Body for Guarantees of Origin (Entidade Emissora de Garantias de Origem - EEGO). 

In this context, and in order to comply with the legislation in force, the EEGO prepared the Procedures Manual for the exercise of its duties, which was made available for public consultation by the Portuguese Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (Direção-Geral de Energia e Geologia - DGEG).

All interested parties are invited to participate in this consultation, which will be taking place until 11 August 2019.
