REN and State Grid organize symposium on integration of renewable energy

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais and SGCC - State Grid Corporation of China, are promoting, on February 17, an event on the integration of renewable energies in the electric system.

This forum, under the global targets of clean energies, will gather important contributions of national and international representatives of network operators, market agents and academy. The relevance of Portugal's experience, and widely recognized success on the integration of renewable energies in the National Electric System, led to the organization of the event, on the occasion of the President of SGCC's, Mr. Shu Yinbao, visit to Portugal.

The Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, the Minister of Economy, the Secretary of State for Energy and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Cai Run, will be present at the Symposium.

This event is yet another example of the strategic partnership between REN and SGCC, under which both companies work in close cooperation, sharing experiences and investing continuously on innovations through R&D Nester.
