REN annual report wins international awards

REN has earned two of the most prestigious international awards for annual reports: in the ARC Awards REN was awarded a silver medal in the 'Interactive Annual Report' category, and at the 11th International Business Awards the company earned a bronze Stevie in the 'Best Annual Report - Online/Electronic' category.

Margarida Ferreirinha, REN's Communications and Sustainability Manager, said that 'online is a very important communication channel for REN and it is with great satisfaction that we see our commitment in this area being internationally recognised, through the awards won by both the corporate site and the Annual Report and Sustainability Report.

At this year's ARC Awards REN earned a silver award for the company's digital annual report, after having won a bronze in the same category the previous year. The award winners were selected by a panel of judges composed of representatives of the financial sector, the media and design and advertising agencies. The 26th awards will be presented at a ceremony in New York on 25 September.

The International Business Awards, better known as the 'Stevie Awards', originate from the USA. This year they appraised about 3500 applications from 60 countries. The judging panel of more than 250 company executives from around the world awarded REN a bronze Stevie. The awards will be formally presented at a ceremony in Paris, France, on 10 October.

These two awards are recognition of REN's commitment to the quality and transparency of its operational and financial information content.
