REN chosen to represent Portugal at the European Business Awards

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais was chosen as a national champion and will represent Portugal in the Environmental & Corporate Sustainability category at the European Business Awards 2014-15.

The environmental & corporate sustainability category rewards organisations that develop innovate practices that are based on social, cultural, economic and environmental responsibility. This award is an appreciation of companies that develop policies that are concerned with consumers, employees and the environment.

The prize is awarded by a panel of 166 executives of different nationalities who choose 709 national champions from 33 countries to go through to the second phase.

Voting in the next phase begins on 6 January 2015, with the winner being announced during the first quarter of 2015.
