REN present in the "1st Conference of the Energy Iberian Market"

Madrid hosted on 30 June the first edition of the “Energy Iberian Market” conference. This event, jointly organized by the Spanish Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and KPMG, had the participation of Rodrigo Costa, Chairman of REN's Board of Directors.

Rodrigo Costa was present at the third panel of the conference - 'Iberian Infrastructure and interconnections with Europe,'  - where they discussed the various challenges present with the remaining panel, made up of Carlos Collantes Pérez-Arda, President, INELFE, Antonio Llardén, President, Enagas José Luis López de Silanes, President, CLH and José Carlos Sepodes, CEO, CLC.

The conference also discussed 'The integration of wholesale markets' and 'The skills in the Iberian energy market.'

The opening session was made by the Portuguese Secretary of State for Energy, Artur Trindade, and the closure was assured by José Manuel Soria, Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism of Spain.
