REN receives several awards in "International Business Awards 2013"

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais received four awards at the 10th International Business Awards, also known as the Stevie Awards. REN won two gold Stevies among the energy and utilities companies, one for the best website and the other for the best investor relations website. The company also won two other awards: silver in the Best Annual Report Online/Electronic category and bronze in the best web design category.

Now in their tenth year, the Stevie Awards, (which originated in the United States) are the most coveted global awards and receive candidates from over 50 countries.

The judging committee of more than 250 executives of companies from all over the world has acknowledged the quality of the new REN website and its Annual Report.

The Stevie Awards (Stevie is taken from the name Stephen, which is derived from the Greek for 'crowned') will be formally presented at a ceremony in Barcelona, Spain on 14 October.
