In the next few days REN's Human Resources Department will receive a visit from the corresponding department of Eletricidade de Moçambique (EDM), in an initiative to promote the sharing of experiences on policies and operational practices in the areas of Human Resources and Sustainability.
An important part of this initiative will be a number of training sessions organised by REN concerning its human resources training and development policy and respective management indicators, as well as on the Quality and Occupational Health and Safety policy.
According to Elsa Carvalho, REN's Director of Human Resources, 'this visit allows us to exchange experiences with one of the largest companies in Mozambique and to strengthen the ties between two companies that have a significant impact on their respective countries' economy'.
It should be mencioned that a study by the consultancy firm Sair da Casca ranked this department among the top Iberian companies that disclose most information on human resources and occupational health and safety.
