REN'S sustainability report is awarded silver at The Mercury Awards

The Sustainability Report of REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais received the Silver award at the Mercury Excellence Awards, an international competition which, for 30 years, has been recognizing the best works in the communication area.

In this edition, REN's Annual Report was also awarded a Special Mention, in the category of Overall Presentation - Energy.

This year, approximately 700 companies from 18 countries competed and were evaluated for the course of a year by a panel composed of representatives from the financial sector (Wachovia, PVF Investor Relations, Bank of China, among others), media (RTL, Pratt Institute, Equity financial Press, REF Financial Press etc.), design agencies (e.g., Burgess Strategic Marketing, First Rabbit, Four Media Digital Media Innovations, The Design Associates) and communication agencies (Edico Financial Press Services, Weber Shandwick, Petranix Corporate and Financial Communications, among others).
