Deadline For Submitting Applications for The 2020 REN Award Extended To 15 May

The deadline for submitting applications for the 2020 REN Award has been extended. The applicants for the best Master's thesis in the energy field will now be able to submit their application until 15 May. 

The 2020 REN Award distinguishes the best Master's theses in the energy field completed in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 academic years, carried out in Portuguese higher education institutions in the different branches of Engineering, but also covering Economy, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Information Systems and Computing. Every two years, the REN Award also distinguishes the best PhD thesis, which will take place in 2021.

The winner of the Prize for the Best Master's Thesis will be awarded a monetary value of €25,000, with the second prize amounting to €15,000  and the third prize amounting to €10,000. The REN Award also provides for the possibility of awarding three special mentions to theses that deserve to be recognised for their merit, each of which receiving €2,500.
