REN’s Annual Report wins international awards

The 2014 Annual Report of REN has been distinguished in two of the most prestigious international awards for reports & accounts. 

Living up to the slogan of the 2014 Report 'A formula for success', REN was awarded a silver medal in the ARC Awards and the bronze trophy in the Stevie Awards. 

At the 29th edition of the International ARC Awards, REN was awarded in the 'Interactive Annual Report: Combined Annual and Sustainability Report' category. A recognition that repeats, after, being rewarded in 2014 with the silver trophy, in the category 'Interactive Annual Report: Energy', and in 2013, for the first time, in that same category, with bronze. 

The ARC Awards is the world's largest international competition honoring excellence in annual reports. The judging of each annual report is carried out by a panel of judges representing leaders in the fields of investor relations, writing, design and photography based on its success in communicating its company's story. The evaluation is based not on corporate profitability nor production, but on the values of creativity, clarity, effectiveness, and excellence as symbolized by the ARC Awards. The ARC Awards will be presented during a Gala Celebration and Exhibition in New York City. 

As for this year's International Business Awards, known as 'Stevie Awards' , the jury composed of more than 250 business executives from around the world recognized once again the quality of REN's Annual report. This year, the company was awarded the bronze Stevie as 'Best online Annual Report', the same as last year. 

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for 'crowned,' the Stevie Awards are the world's premier business awards program. This year, more than 3,700 nominations from organizations from around 60 countries were submitted for consideration in a wide range of categories. The awards will be formally presented at a ceremony in Toronto, Canada, in October.
