REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais and the Portuguese Paralympics Committee (CPP) have signed a sponsorship agreement for the next two years (2014 and 2015).
It provides for sponsorship of the CPP's preparation programmes for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and the Ankara 2017 Deaflympics.
Rui Cartaxo, REN CEO said, ' REN is proud to be associated with the CPP, a movement that is a role model in character-building, defence of health and social cohesion and inclusion'.
Humberto Santos, President of the Portuguese Paralympics Committee, stated, 'To have such a prestigious entity as REN associated with the Paralympics Committee's projects is really a source of great satisfaction and also a sense of responsibility. We hope that this corporate example will help disseminate the importance of the humanistic principle embodied by the CPP's work, as expressed in its motto 'equality, inclusion and sporting excellence.'
